We strive to raise healthy puppies. We guarantee puppy to be in good health at time of pickup.   You have 72 hours to take puppy to a licensed vet for exam, if the vet finds the puppy to be unhealthy, ( the puppy may be returned for a refund or toward purchase of another puppy available or a future puppy from another litter) – provided puppy has not been injured or neglected by the buyer, the vet must provide us a written statement why the puppy is unhealthy an give us a opportunity to take the puppy to our vet for exam. This does not include minor illnesses, internal or external parasites, giardia  or coccidia (which is stress related of going to a new home) we use a preventative starting at 3 weeks on their food and send a 14 day supply home with you, it usually happens about 10 to 14 days after they leave our home. umbilical hernias/ruptures, hypoglycemia.

In the event the purchaser is unable to keep the puppy, the purchaser agrees to notify us. Breeder will then assist purchaser in finding a new home for the puppy, at a possible lower price than what purchaser paid, due to age, health, etc., or if needed take the puppy back as soon as possible with akc paperwork an vet records at purchasers expense for travel to provide a stable environment while finding puppy/dog new home ( no money will be refunded until we can find a new suitable home) an a refund will be determined by rehoming or sale. We as the breeder want the puppy/dog to be well cared for at all times.

The puppy is an individual an the breeder cannot be held responsible should conditions, genetic or otherwise, develop later in life.  All veterinary care an it’s associated costs are sole an exclusive responsibility of the purchaser after puppy leaves our care. The purchaser agrees that the puppy/dog will be kept in appropriate conditions for its welfare an health. It will be fed a suitable diet, water available at all times, have appropriate  exercise, be kept in a preferred suitable inside area, and when puppy left unattended, crate training is advised, an never permanently confine this dog to a crate, with a chain/cable or rope in yard. Golden’s are needy, they need affection, love an understanding, especially thru their 1st year.  Purchaser agrees to continue with worming’s  and shots needed their 1st year an thereafter for the protection of the puppy, heart worm prevention an flea/tick prevention if needed. We recommend getting your puppy microchipped at its 1st vet exam by you. The purchaser agrees the dog will not be neglected or maltreated in anyway.
